I
am a 26 yr old Norwegian musician
( double bass ) and I´ve been
playing a Sandvik Stradivarius
for about 7 years. I play the saw
on some recordings, mainly
norwegian gipsy/punk/circus group
Wunderkammer, and I´ve done a
lot of concerts with
jazz/electronic stuff, improvised
music, "pop" music. I
also compose/play with
"contemporary circus"
troupe Circus Xanti. I play with
my bass bow.. |

yo Seattle resident. I just got a
Charlie Blacklock special for
christmas. I'm having some
trouble getting any tone with the
bow I bought, but I'm still
trying. I compose odd dark
electronic music and beats and
the saw will be a great
accompaniment. I learned of the
saw from the movie Delicatessen,
which is highly reccommended. It
is fascinating to see the variety
of strange people that play the
saw. If you drink beer, does it
make you play better? |
